This is one of the top attractions and an exciting outdoor-experience into the beautiful wild and unspoilt rainforest of North Sumatra.

Tour description
Set off from Bukit Lawang at 9:00 am in the morning and travel by private transport to the village of Simolap Marike, the starting point of your 6-hour white water rafting journey. Along the way you’ll experience wonderful countryside and watch farmers with their various plants and commodities they grow for their income. At the set-off point the crew will pump up your boat and the instructors explain how to raft well with maximum fun on Wampu River, which has grade 3 water levels. On this memorable adventure you will see magnificent landscape along the river, waterfalls, gorges, forest, wildlife and local fishermen. You will stop at hot springs along the way for swimming and relaxing. After a local lunch picnic next to a waterfall you continue rafting down Wampu River. Your rafting trip will end in Bohorok from where you will be picked up and transferred back to your accommodation in Bukit Lawang.
Includes: certified English speaking guide, all equipment, return transport from Bukit Lawang, rafting instructor (Sumatra Savages), lunch picnic, drinking water
